PROTECH

PROTECH Screens are manufactured, designed and engineered for superior form for school districts across the nation. There is no longer any reason for schools to rely on the ineffective means of window protection such as expanded metal grills and burglar alarms.

PROTECH Series designs are pantented and engineered to provide a maximun level of protection. At the same time, they reduce energy costs and improve the overall apperance of your school's building.

Numerous studies have proven that the cosmetic appearance of school buildings can have an effect on the learning process. The "jail-like" appearance of expanded metal, burglar bars, chain link fencing, and barbed wire makes for an ineffective arena for the educational process. PROTECH Screens also provide the least obstructed view in the window guard industry.

PROTECH Series Screens present a positive image and provide the students, faculty, and community with an enhanced atmosphere for education.

What is a PROTECH Series Screen?

A PROTECH Series Screen looks very similar to an insect screen, only much stronger and sturdier. The vandal resistant screen installs into the frame of an existing window and is designed to retrofit to the opening in such a fashion similar to a "pre-hung" door.

PROTECH Series Screens are manufactured with heavy duty extruded aluminum main frames. Each main frame is finished in a standard class one anodized bronze or clear coating. Every design is engineered to accept PROTECH'S unique latching system. which allows the screens to meet your egress needs.

PROTECH Series Screens utilize an industrial strength protective material that has:

  1. Passed the hurricane testing procedures set by the Texas Department of Insurance. TDI-98 and SBCCI SSTD 12-99.
  2. Passed the 100 pound impact testing standards SMA 6001 set by the Screen Manufacturer's Association.
  3. Shown positive results in controlling solar and optical heat, when tested in accordance with the ASHRAE testing procedures 74-1988 (Matrix, Inc.)
  4. Passed the hurricane testing procedures for large and small missile impact test by Dade County, Florida.

PROTECH Screens do all of the above and even keep out the bugs. They truly are "The New Image of PROTECH-tion."!
